| [#1] 4 Tracks Reel-to-Reel Tapes 同好會 We got quite a few pre-recorded 4 tracks reel-to-reel 7.5 ips tapes from eBay recently. Many of the tapes are very very good and even better sounding than LP. But some, esp those with classical music, sound not nearly as good and probably worse than CD. And there are very few info on the web on what tapes to buy. Any recommendation? |

| [#12] 4 Tracks Reel-to-Reel Tapes 同好會 I am keeping 2 RTR in the warehouse, 2 tracks 1/4 tape...machine, not yet start, my intention is Playback , n transfer my LP onto it, but shall not have time to do it until end of this yr... in the meantime..i keep collecting those Tape..., from around the world.. | [#14] 4 Tracks Reel-to-Reel Tapes 同好會 Sure. You are most welcomed. Pls e-mail me to confirm date. What you saw on the pic are indeed V69, V81, V73 and a clone WE106. And we also have V70, V72, V76, V101 and clone WE124. All these German studio amps work better in balanced connection but there is no balanced output from the Revox A77 :＜ For 4-tracks pre-recordede tapes, the record labels seem to matter alot. So far, I found almost every tapes from "Command Tape" are very very good. Many of the "Columbia" are also good. Some of the RCA Victor are good. And most of the tapes with classical music sound bad! |
