| [#1] Suggestion for digital sources What was considered CAS is now a lot more complicated: Storage (usually a computer or NAS) and a streamer or network bridge (with) or add another external DAC. I'm starting on this to replace my CD player (Wadia 861) and to make it easier for other family members to use Spotify, Airplay etc. I'm humbly asking C-hing for any advice on the above with $40--50k budget (new or 2nd had models) Many thanks in advance. |

| [#3] Suggestion for digital sources Thx Ming Sir! I have a NAS for songs storage, computer (iTubes) but no streamers, no DAC I'm interested in Roon though... No experience with external DAC - find one that matches with player is a bit challenging ? Advice would be most appreciated. |

| [#6] Suggestion for digital sources Thx. I think I need to study more about the role of NAS vs the streamer. I previously thought NAS or any external storage is but a storage for the 1's and 0's but apparently even that storage and server does impact sonic quality and of course a transport player (i.e. streamer). So thanks for the wonderful resource... |
