Every time after the trip he gave faces to me and came to my home to listen to some music. This time he gave me hint to audition my 11A. I am also grateful to CP and Wah Gor who came with the Audio Research SP10. This was the second time in a week for me to audition SP10. The sound of SP10 is quite similar to SP11 to my ears. They have the same authorized mid bass and heroic sound that my Fisher 50-C never comes close. However, the FISHER 50-C has an advantage to express the difference between the top & the low, the heavy & light in each rhythm. The clone Fisher 50-C in fact own the same feature of the 50-C. Perhaps my ears are going worse, I was told that I had given permission to my toys to sing louder & lounder recently :-) CP in fact made a calculation and he told me that the sound level was over 106 db in a non-stop several minutes when the TURANDOT was played. To be honest, I don't know more than 100db should be regarded as loud :-) Another gathering with fun. Thanks.  |

| [#24578] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user Ace, CP & Wah Gor Any comments to share? ------------------------------ It's great to meet Ace from Singapore again after close to a year and great thanks too to Gingers for the free lunch. Despite I do stock quite some deadly german weaponry, they are more strategic than outright offensive, stationing at homebase holding the fort most of the time. But my recently recruited GI from Minnesota is typically belligerent and pugnacious, spending most of his time in battlefields before even undergoing basic training in the academy; the ARC SP-10 was despatched again to annihilate the ailing Fisher commando in Fei Ngor Shan this morning. The mission turned out to be not as straight forward. The opposition's field marshall has quietly summoned some strong back up, including a 3rd Fisher 50C and a clone soldier 50C, and with some unknown high tech weapon turning the battlefield into a warped space, taking the SP-10 close to 4 hours to complete the mission. There must have been some strange radiations from the 4x EL34s of the Audiomaster 11A warping the space and all the arithmetic doesn't add up. My super high tech iPhone SPL detector which was tactfully positioned at 2m from the bomb target registered a peak SPL of 105.6 dB and a continuous scanning of 100 dB for 2-1/2 minutes when Liu killed herself in Turandot. However, our NSC database on terrorist weaponry indicates that the Audiomaster 11A has only had a rated output of 25W and the sensitivity of the bomb target LS3/5a is only 82dB/W/m. At the location of our detector, it shall take the Audiomaster a solid 128W to achieve that SPL and we have confusing information of the actual max SPL that the 3/5a can achieve. The radiation also caused the opposition's field marshall to operate irrationally as he kept fiddling the volume pot of the 50C when he was actually trying to adjust the volume of the SP-10 and turned off the 11A when he was supposed to turn off the Leak TL10. The SP-10 retreated uninjured, impressing the observers, Ace, Wah Gor and Gingers, with his mellifluous midrange and huge and substantial control of a holographic soundstage. The 50C survives, still holds the fort of Fei Ngor Shan with its more lively sound and tonnes of high frequency which suits its master's transcended taste on chinese opera music. |
