AX50 clearly sound better than 83 for sure...
3-layer mica Fw4/500 is 4V, but 5v octal base is also available, vincent's pair was 5V octal (we tried in rectifier party) ^_@.

My recent purchase TL12 Plus is acting up on me. when I first powered up for a short time, I measured voltage after teh filter cap (320 and 300V) not too bad compared with spec. 320 and 315V for 220V input. But, a lillte smoke appear below thge board, quickly turn off (shouldn'e be too much damage I hope)

Then power up with 75V to check teh rest. The filter cap voltage measured 140V (seems high for a 75 input) the voltage at

EF86 Leg 1 - 86V (70 at 220 full supply) Leg 6 - 140V (145V at full supply)

12AT7 Leg 1 and Leg 6 at 120V or so (180 and 170 at FS)

These voltages are extremely high at 75V

Comments please.
