| [#2] 請問8字頭有無分左右? if you look at the power cord, the plug also has a spade that is wider, so it can only be plug into the wall socket one way, this will make sure the hot/live wire will go thru a fuze and on/off switch before it go anywhere else in the box, if there's a short that causes the fuze to burn out, this will reduce the chance of shock, the only place that's can cause shock is the wire between the IEC connector and the fuse holder, if the fuse holder is built-in, then, there should not be any danger opening the box, this is to protect in case the power cord is not disconnected before opening the box. |

| [#7] 請問8字頭有無分左右? yes. there are one type of 8 head. one pole with square, one pole with circle. I can't recall which is +ve and which is -ve phase. you can google to check. but most electrical applicance only use 8 shape without polarity. Just a few will implement polarity |

RE: gundam00: 小弟都遇過此煩惱,後來我只好用電筆度一下8字頭 邊忽有電....再開機蓋睇睇邊忽駁fuse(有FUSE為"火"."LINE") suggestion: connect the power cord(but not plug into wall outlet), open top cover, use a ohm meter to check continuity from narrower spade to fuse, if you have it, mark the underside of 8 connector with a dot of white paint, so next time you re-connect the cord, and see the white dot, you'll know it's not correct, save you time to re-checking. |
