你睇下隻火牛旁邊有冇一啲label 大概講下啲尺後嘅初級是input. 怎樣, may be this tranformer is 115V X 2, so
can easily convert to 115V

If it is 230V at primary.., then it cannot..

Most of the time.. The tranformer label will have that info

環牛初級那邊有五條線，其中一條是地線接機箱，另外就是兩組，那就應該可以改電壓了。

Thanks to the Ching who provided photos # 5,6 and I do see the difference between my 230v model and the 110v model being in the grey and black wire position. Bur how do you measure to ensure the right wiring for the corresponding power rating?

no harm to proceed if u understand this picture, then u know how to do it..and test..etc.

if u find the link..able to trace the link.. , then done..correct fuse etc

otherwise, get someone to do it for u

no color coding label on the transformer ?

Thanks for all the information. I propose to carry out the following:

1. Unplug the Tx Output socket (Red and Blue wires) with Tx Input wiring remains in 230v configuration.
2. Power on the unit and measure Tx Output voltage and current across R1-BL and R2-BL. (will it be around 12v / 2.5A ? or 24v 2.5A?)

Unplug Power

3. Change the Tx Input wiring to the suggested configuration for 110v power input as shown in the photo.
4. Connect DAC to a 220v – 110v step down Tx and power on the unit.
5. Measure Tx Output voltage and current across R1-BL and R2-BL.

I would expect the Tx Output voltage and current to be the same for both 230v and 110v Tx Input Configuration. If this is so, can I safely take it as unit being properly rewired to 110v? Am I still missing something?

As the stepping ratio is no changed, so the secondary output voltage will not be changed after modifying 110V.

Two primary separate coil (two 0-110V input) should be connected in parallel connection with same phase direction.

Thanks guys for all the wonderful inputs. I am pretty sure I am moving in the right direction (am I ?) but my problem now is to unplug the white plastic socket at the transformer input and output. I am scared of using force to unplug them fearing I might break it. Any tips ?
