Its sheer musicality and transparency is something to die for. Next goal is to listen to it using the SBT as the digital transport. | [#17] Lampizator 同好會 Let me chime in about the transport. It is a hot-rodded modified Squeezebox Duet (not Touch). I am not sure if today a Touch with linear psu and a EDO charged usb will provide similar or better performance. I think the Lamp transport was conceived before EDO (Extended Digital Output firmware which among many other things enable asyn usb digital output) saw the sky. |
