| [#13] Cassette會回歸？ Yes. As a visible subculture, I think it will grow to a sizable, profitable, niche market. Japan has a growing and vibrant subculture in cassettes. It is growing steadily in the last ten years or so. Other places over the world also has this subculture growing. Less sure if high-end models will be out. Probably not. But things are really unpredictable. Maybe thirty years later or so (I shall not be in this earth hahaha), those young adopters of cassettes now become rich, so higher-end models are profitable? Dunno. History is too unpredictable. This reminded of a theory called REMEDIATION, talking about how the old media got absorbed by new media, but old media adapted itself (by users' support) to the new environment. Some eventually gone, but some has become resilient. Fidelity may not be the key reason for the return of cassette, certainly. My ZX7.  |

Even in Shum SHui Po 'hawkers' sell Shirley Kwan's cassette for 200 hkd. Sometimes you get good deal, but at least $5 for one. | [#18] Cassette會回歸？ For this batch It comes from Facebook market place, I notice,those free cassettes are quite wildly avaiable all over UK quite often (especially those 雜錦 or reader digest pressing) For some other batches(decca /RCA.. Specialize Jazz label etc. ..) Some comes from a conversation with neighbor, then at my door step haha from https://www.freecycle.org/ Some of those Rock music cassette, in general, less common, I guess those rock lovers always keeping their collection From last 10 months.. I think I have got about 800 in total, and give away around 200 (I do not listen to motown and Country much at all) If I willing to drive more Than 1 hours.. There will be more.. Haha Those "NOW" cassette, is for sure better than "Now" LP There are free book, free tools, free artwork.. Haha  |
