| [#2] MC Cartridge 唱頭選擇 Your SME 3009S2 is the old Series with two step counter weight or the SS2 improved with single counter weight? If it is the later one, all MC cartridge you mentioned can not work with your tonearm, the S2 improved max. VTF is 1.5g, it is designed for low mass MM cartridge only....... If your tonearm is the old 3009S2 with heavier counter weight, the Ortofon would be the most safe choice, but what is your phono amp? Loading impedance would have significant impact for MC cartridge performance..... |

| [#4] MC Cartridge 唱頭選擇 Thanks for blackspin Ching. My SME tone arm was 3009S2. I used the entry level phono amp. Thorens MM-008 ADC Phono Amp. It has 3 switches for MC Cartridge, such as 10， 100，1k ohm. I read most of MC cartridge is 100 ohm. |
