| [#13] Goldmund 同好會 I use VDH MC Silver MKII interconnect & Burmester pc (thick version). There are some sharing after using Mimesis 330 for a month.... Goldmund sounded amazing in details, speed, tansparence & especially the poisoning sweet vocal performance. Mimesis 330 does have deep low-Hz reproduction but not punchy at all. Comparing to my favourite ex-integrated amplifier; MF kW500 in matching with Dynaudio C1, I would like to describe kW500 as a MAN, reproducing exciting & punchy low-Hz, even during low volume. Soundstage is huge and solid esp. in classical music. I find that kW500 is the better match with Dynaudio C1. As for the Goldmund Mimesis 330, just like a LADY comparing to kW500. It is able to give more details, faster sound with its noble & sweet astmosphere. Its high-Hz is fine & airy, producing the more laid-back 3D soundstage. I also find it has stronger contrast and lower noise floor. Mimesis 330 is better to match with higher sensitivity loudspeakers, i.e. ＞89dB, ＞6ohms. Fortunately, for pushing my C1, Mimesis 330 still does its good job as my listening area is relatively smaller than before. I satisfy & enjoy this matching now unless I move into a larger apartment or my taste changes again. Anyway, I also like to try higher sensitivity loudspeakers in matching Mimesis 330 if there is any comparable or even better speakers aavailable than Dynaudio C1 in term of performance. Any comments / suggestions? |

| [#20] Goldmund 同好會 I have chance to assist Goldmund in Beijing HiFi show last month. The Goldmund cheapest system (Eidos 18, Mimesis 330 & Logo Mini) is very impressive. Quite a number of visitors even stick on the "king seat" for hours and highly praised this setup. I can dare say it is one of the best sounding room in that HiFi show.  |
