| [#5] ET-2 tonearm user club I bought my ET2 first hand in 1986, twenty years ago!! I used it with a VPI HW19 MK3. I can't remember exactly how much I bought but I think it is around 5K? There have been so many upgrades on the ET2 which are no more available. With the hardware maching facilities so readily available in Guangdong and with sufficient interest, I think we may be possible to re-do some in here. Any proposals?? I think some in mind. |

| [#7] ET-2 tonearm user club I have some ideas about the tonearm modifications. Still too early and I have to confirm the drawings from the source before I disclose it. Besides, I will be doing more experiment on the air source (pressure, regulators, etc.) and hope to share experience with others. That's why I want to find out more ET2 users so that we can act together. |

| [#10] ET-2 tonearm user club I think we're just a very small group. I try mine supplied with my diving tank, it works well and quiet, but not that convenience to get recharge, so I think about that to order a compressor with tank, but its too big and noisy when charging. |

I did some research on compressors, its suspension and noise control, heat dissipation, etc. I am going to put that on my system in the next few months and I will publish my project to share the experience in here. |

| [#13] ET-2 tonearm user club I brought a 2nd hand ET2 some time ago but never have the chance to install it yet. There one problem with the ET2 is that the plastic parts are easily breakable. I have broken a number of part just by over tightening the screws a little bit, a very little bit. I am not sure whether this is due to the material or because of the age. Luckily, these parts are still available from the manufacturer, and except for the lead counterweight, the prices are pretty reasonable |

| [#18] ET-2 tonearm user club I had some email conversations with Bruce Thigpen before and he suggested me to try between 5-20psig only. In my case, I will use an oil-free compressor such as Gast or Thomas. (A Thomas 2668CHI22 will give 30LPM at 30psig). I will get it a double box (will be below 50dbA) and put it in another room and then connect it with a long plastic tubing. I will build an air tank around 10 liter using PVC water pipe (it is more quiet than Aluminium or stainless steel). Then after a 0.2micron filter, I will use a SMC IR1010 high precision regulator to adjust the pressure. And finally another small air tank of about 600cc and another filter before going into the ET2. I will also put some Aluminium Oxide (Al2O3) in the air tank for drying the compressed air. |

| [#20] ET-2 tonearm user club I'm using 5 psi now and placed the pump inside the ceiling of the other room with a long silicon tube and just one 3L buffer in between and monitor the pressure and ripples just before the inlet of the tonearm, it works very well. I preferred to use over 10 psi and provided by a high pressure tank. I did try to use my diving tank and regulator applied to control the outlet to 15 psi it works perfect, but the tank is expired now. |
