| [#10] Quad Amp CluB Dave hing, My 405.2 is still in perfect condition. I bought it when it was new 15+ years ago but I didn't often turn it on since I own quite a few sets of amplifiers. Actually, I've never had any "vibration" problem on my II, 303 and 606 neither. Paying $3K for a replacement transformer is more realistic than what I've paid for fixing a small remote control problem on my 66pre - they charged me $2K 7 years ago! |

| [#11] Quad Amp CluB Dear Quad Users, Please let me in. I am a user of Quad 99 seires (99 Pre, 909 Power and CDS). I've been using the Quad system for a year now, to drive Tannoy Stirling HE. I like the quad very much. I think the Quad and Tannoy match very well. Other than the Qaud, I also own and use a few other electronic euqipments (AVI Lab S1, Marantz S11, etc.).
