I saw one pair of IBX in Avantgarde Central (Pottinger Street). They were stashed in a corner and they did not seem to be pushing these speakers. I think their flavor for this month is the diminutive Kiso speakers and the new Kondo integrated amp.

As far as I know, LV's presence in Hong Kong is very minimal. but try calling Avantgarde. Or the distributor which I think is Audio Evidence.

I would call both in advance if you want to arrange audition.

No very expensive when consider the sound. One selling in R33 1-2 years ago asking 3xk. Some selling in Singapore in UK 2ndhand at similar price too..

I have listened to a pair of IBX-R2 in central which was driven by Kondo M77 and 300B mono block yesterday. I love its balance and musicality. I have listened for two hours but feel very comfortable - my ears.It is a good indication of a good system. To my understanding, the designer, Kevin Scott is based on Kondo amplifiers to fine tune its sound balance. I don't know how it is driven by other tube or small power SS amplifier. I don't think it is reasonsble to use almost million dollars to drive it. Should any C-hing have any experience, please share. Thanks.

No sir, I used to own a pair of Monitor 30s and changed to OBX-R2

My speakers is now in storage due to renovation so I am thinking of selling if the price is right.

AS per mahi's advice, I gave it another try with new room and new amp, and found the LV has much greater potential than I thought.
