Usually, MM cartridge excels MC in this area.

Usaully, MM has a higher tracking ability than MM because of its higher compliance. Not necessary a rule but very few MC can track better than MM.

Though I don't have any Shure MM, I would extend my high recommendation to give it a try in the hifi New & record 18db test.

Having said that, I don't believe tracking ability is everything. Most MC cartridges carrying a lighter coil weigh have the advantage of capturing more information details from the vinyl groove. Then again, this is a common explanation for layman like me but not necessarily true.

MM vs MC is always a big debate.

我覺得在Denon糸列的唱頭中, 每一個都是性價比都很高的,例如160, 110, 103, 103R, 103D, 301, 304和DLS1等。

Denon103R的內部結構、針桿、唱計和103SA是一樣的, 除了外殼不同, SA的外殼物料減少了嗚震的產生, 對音質有顯著的提升, 但價錢卻高很多。在網上有很多不同的材料外殼出售, 換上其中的任何一款, 都對音質有一定的改良, 就算加上外殼的價錢, 也比103SA平宜, 不妨一試。

我已經換上鋁外殼的103R
