| [#1] Luxman M05 Vs M07 Just got my order Luxman M07 100 watts Pure Class A...Compare with my Luxman M05 also 100 watts Class A...Woww,nothing to say...now l know why M07 was sold very expensive at that time (68,4500 Yen)...nearly add up half selling price of M05. M07 have stronger Bass...more dynamic power...wider sound space...l think l have to say goodbye to M05! Handle my order by Wellcome audio. | [#4] Luxman M05 Vs M07 Hello kt8805, LUXMAN M08 is running Class AB mode 200Watts. Compare with M07 ,sound is different...,may better dynamic but is not very warm sound!! Luxman M07 is the Flagship model at that time (Very expensive).By Stereo Sound No.93 C.O.T.Y.at page 221.Luxman M07 got Number one position & beat down most of other Amp.Such as PIONEER M5a Class A 300 Watts mono,Accuphase P800,Yamamha MX10000 etc... Now Luxman seem to stop made bigger Power Class A amp (M800a only 60 watts Class A...).Cost must be a main factor...Give you some idea,Accuphase New A200 Class A 100 watts amp ask 220k! | [#14] Luxman M05 Vs M07 Hi PureClassA C-hing, I think Luxman (or the previous owner) seems to has expended much care and thought on improving the sound better. Your M07 has shown the finger-print of "glue-tape" on the body of those E-cap. I think thin copper-sheet had ever been sticked on the "glue" region. It may work as other special function as shield or to discharge excess charge in high humidity environment because the enclosure of M07 is wooden. All interior materials are expensive and the arrangement are insightful. |
