[#1] Pre amp to Pre AMP - impedance related question HI Guy my main toy system consist of 5 turntable ,3 reel to reel machine... last nite.... i wonder... if i use a revox B750 Int. amp pre out and tape out 1) use B750 phono stage ( decent phono stage ) 2) use B750 those other input for reel to reel machines 3) B750 tape out at 200mv min. @ 50kohm 4) B750 pre amp out at 1v min. @ 10kohm 5) Main pre amp line input impedance at 50Kohm ( sensitivity unknown - but lets assume it is something common at 150mv to 200mv range.. ) wonder...it seem make sense..if i take the B750 pre out and extra careful about the volume control.. or i should use one of mine pre amp as that selector, it is a Pioneer C72 with Tape out at 150mv /2.2k ohm and pre out at 1v/1 kohm please feel free...to advice..me..and inform me..if my thinking is stupid for some reason i have 2 mixers... but i am lazy to use the mixer my first feeling is using the revox..as the phono stage is really......not bad thx wish we all have a great tiger yr haha 最後修改時間: 2022-02-04 13:19:25		hahayanyan 正式會員 49.xxx.xxx.165	2022-02-04 13:16

If you just want to use the B750 as Phono Pre, just use the tape out........ and what is your Preamp in the system?

Haha the main pre amp for this case is a pioneer C72 with input impedance at 50kohm

Which I had try last nite..it sound fine.. From revox tape out phono.. To the pioneer c72

And today morning.. I took a look the spec of the b750 pre out.. It has output impedance at only 10kohm.. Thst make me wonder..

I am ready to do. A test at about 2 hours later too haha

From the revox pre amp out 1v min. At 10kohm..if I be very careful.. Seem nothing will break.. Haha

Obviously it shall carry the b750 pre amp chareristic anday not be a good things too

I have some other pre amp at home.. Real and clone FM

魚與熊掌…..

瑞士架生好多都understate 自己嘅spec，第二 10K ohm 同50K 分別不大…. 以前有啲架生係1M ohm，咁咪一樣咁聽。我認為冇需要因為數字搞唔多野，it sounds nice重要啲。

10k drive a 50kohm..loading seem so good wor. On paper

我自己的耳朵不太可靠.. Sometime.

Some right physic.. Make me feel so nice

From the b750
Volume of the pre amp out match the tape out at volume setting 6/10

A/B testing...

Fun... Haha

The revox phono 1 has 3 loading option at 25k, 50k and 100k, and input sensitivity too

Now running a audio technica at33e to a ortofon st 7 step up(about 1:14) to phono 1 at 25k ohm loading

Fun... They sound very similar.. And I would never able to conduct this A/B test... 知道自己做緊乜這些微細嘅改變都受到心理質上嘅影響, 我認為我係可靠的.. I need someone help me for blind test, shall ask a family to switch between both input for blind test tonite.. . Haha

有一樣可以肯定嘅就係.. I do not need a mixer for all those tape machine and table... Now using the b750 as a selector.. Haha

At this moment.. I prefer the pre amp out.. As it has one more stage of gain control... And the EQ.... Haha... Haha
