| [#1] What T-Amp is the best buy? I have been using Trends TA-10 but I read that KingRex T20 is better. Today I spent ~$1k to order the Charlize 2. I have to assemble it later on. 2 points that I believe: 1) Tripath TA-2020 is the best T-Amp chip. 2) No input capacitor is the best capacitor. Any Charlize 2 users to share?  |

What T-Amp is the best buy? ---------------------------------------------- Only personal opinion:- i purchased this small poppulse T-1 t-amp,this is a very natural & smooth sounding amp with about 42w/8ohm output,i not dare to say its a "high end" but its presentation is tends to high end way! Normal t-amp like Trend or similar "bump" the sound in a direct way,but not emotional enough!  |

| [#3] What T-Amp is the best buy? i used charlize 1 and now charlize 2 I love charlize2 and can do away with expensive caps. it is output cap-less. It replaced the tube amp in my system. I use them to drive SABA coax fullrange, nice!!!best buy!! |

| [#5] What T-Amp is the best buy? Hi welborne, Yes, the 6moons review says that TA-2020 is a tube amp killer. The higher dB of the speakers, the more killing. :) And, TA-2020 should be warmer with more bass than my TA-2024. :) |

I praise the products of DIYParadise here because they are really good and very affordable for a not rich guy. The products of Charlize 2, USB Monica & DAC Monica 3 are all good. To save money, I can buy the PCB kit & assemble the chassis. |

Hi zbigniew821, Source: USB Monica -＞ Meier Opera as preamp Speakers: Bose 121v fullrange with fuse removed & upgraded to Solen cap + Altec Lansing subwoofer It is best to match with high dB speakers that I don't have. Though, I am satisfied with the good sound. :) The Bose 121v is 88dB and may be 89/90dB after the mod. |
