| [#12] Fuse holder Well, not exactly, the main point of fuse operation is all depends on the time current curve (TCC as below). Both fuse and MCB will not trip at rated full load. But for fuse, the internal metal link is being cooked by the load current, some uncertainty in actual melting point is involved.  |

| [#13] Fuse holder Yes They All seem not tripped at 100% loading... But mcb may be from 2x..20ms loading period.. May be it is one of the way to understand it.. Recently one of the guy brought a unique Sony speaker.. And it has a 125V 1A circuit breaker at the entry of the cross over... Make me wonder.. If it replace with a fast acting fuse at around that rating... I cannot see the risk at all... As fuse in general have much faster reception time... And if the fuse tripped sooner... At less multiple of the loaded current... Or size it down appropriately.. That speaker have normial rating at 80Watt |

| [#18] Fuse holder All series protections (Inc. fuse, relay, ptc resistor.. etc) will more or less downgrade the sound quality, therefore professional loudspeakers will not incorporate any protection device in series with their drivers.
