| [#4] Lampizator level 4 DAC Compared with my old Sonic Frontier SFD2 MKII with telefunken E88CC, level 3 gen 3 sounds 10 times better. With this DAC, you will really understand the good sound of CD. Unbelieveable silent background, extremely high resolution, very analog feel. My friend will receive his level 3 gen 4 two weeks later. To be honest, there is a sad point. Poland factory does not sell directly to HK. I had to buy from her USA dealer. This USA dealer charges HKD 8,000 ~20,000 more upon factory export price. Otherwise, I will buy level 4 or 5 tomorrow. If you buy hi-fi gears by eyes, sorry, don't buy Lamp DAC. With a not very expensive price, you really enter the world of high end. You should expect the sound of level 3 a little better than Audionote DAC 4. |

| [#7] Lampizator level 4 DAC The US dealer is a American/Chinese. He can read Chinese and speak Mandarin. Meanwhile, he takes care USA, HK & Taiwan markets. There are only 6 persons in Poland factory. I think only the owner, LF, can read English. No one knows when we will have a dealer here. Service ? The US dealer offers 5-year warranty for the DAC. If the DAC fails, he will send the parts by air parcel. You need to find someone to repair it here. In fact, the inner parts are cheap & simple. I believe I can buy them here. | [#10] Lampizator level 4 DAC 1. Return the DAC for a full refund up to 7 days after purchase ( excl. shipping cost ). 2. 5-yrs warranty for parts and labor excl. tubes. 3. Upgrade to a higher level by paying the price difference within the first year of purchase. All these are Lamp company policy. US dealer has to follow, nothing special. Before I bought from US, I also checked the price from Australia dealer. Prices are the same. They are cartel. Few months ago, I talked with my Korean friend. He can buy directly from factory but Korea import tax is 8%. I can only save up part of the cost. I miss my Singapore friends now. |

This is the only one piece of digital equipment that makes think hard that my 30 years quest on digital music reproduction is over, I can now spend more time on just music rather hardware chasing ... |
