| [#16] 點分係amp到咗極限定喇叭到極限 Easy, play your favourite music, and use a CRO to read the output connected to your speaker. Check if there is any CLIPPED waveform esp. at low frequencies. Or, use a signal generator connected to your pre-amp, set at 50Hz to 80Hz, and drive your speaker and read the output of the power amp using a CRO. Turn up the volumn slowly. If the CRO still shows a perfect sine wave and the speaker is already bottom out, then the speaker cannot handle the power of your amplifier. You may also check the specifications of the amp and speaker to see if their power output and input figures are matched. But there is some tricks to decide a proper power level during this case. |
