| [#2] Wilson benesch同好會 Do you guys think that the craftmanship of WBis very poor. I have seen several pairs of Act one in 2nd hand market, all the top wooden plates had cracks(裂縫)! Moreover, the top plate is not made of one piece of solid wood, but some pieces of wood of different texture which glued together. Although the speakers are famous and the price was about $29k, I would not consider buying it. |

| [#4] Wilson benesch同好會 Not really, the ACT 1 I used (now sold) for over 4 years still in very good condition, no cracks on the top panel. I think it depends on how the user maintain it, never use water or other cleaning fluid on it. I would prefer the warmer tonal of the ACT 1 to the Discovery, just personal taste and ACT 1 looks great too. |

| [#5] Wilson benesch同好會 BERE, 我所見的ACT 1又未曾發現有呢個情況喎，可能廠方響包裝上有改良，DISCOVERY更未曾聽見發生呢類情況添。 lincoln, Act1的暖調，的確富有人情味和松香味，相對來看Act 1 Evolution係較為接近DISCOVERY的現代聲之餘，亦保留ACT 1某程度上的輕鬆感。 話時話，兄是以甚麼來驅動ACT1呢﹖ |

| [#6] Wilson benesch同好會 I think new ACT (new design and units??) should be more expensive than the old ACT 1, guess double the price and double the weight as well. For my previous ACT 1, I used Nagra VPA 845 tube amp to drive them, excellant match as Nagra with a pure, neutral sound character to blend with the warmth of WB. Bi-wire the speaker is a MUST if your amp is powerful enough, hi current not watt. |
