| [#2] KEF Ls 3/5a V. Roger Ls 3/5a KEF, Harbeth and Stirling made only 11 ohm LS3/5A. Rogers made both 11 ohm and 15 ohm LS3/5A. 11 ohm and 15 ohm LS3/5A have different drivers and cross-over and, depsite the name, are not really the same speakers. Early Rogers 15 ohm LS3/5A now cost up to 10 times the price of 11 ohm LS3/5A models. |

| [#3] KEF Ls 3/5a V. Roger Ls 3/5a KEF LS3/5A - all driver are computer matched withi 0.5dB, tweeter, woofer, and cross-over are all individuallt match as with all reference series speaker up till now. All other driver KEF made for Roger, Harbeth etc. are all sweep test from 20-20,000hz(the most basic test in speaker) and deliver without computer match. Stirling brought up a few thousands pieces of the driver and crossover from KEF that were computer matched but failed units. They used up now and made their own. So I have a pair of KEF Piano finished (high gloss) limited edition (500 pairs) as it is the only 3/5A(my own humble opinion) that has high end sound mostly because of its very stiff cabinet. |
