i think a good int. amp is more important than speaker cable. once you get a good amp you can easily adjust to your taste by using different SC.

you can consider using a tube amp since that is what a lot of c hings have recommended before.

I am using Naim + Montior Audio GR10. My personal feeling of this speaker is requesting long period of time burn in. Don't place any comment or resell it without burn in over 200 hours... Of course burn in time will highly depends on your amplifier gear.. (I am using Naim Nait 5i)

In my personal point of view is really good ar! Of course it is a bookself speaker. You cannot expect the bass is very strong. But overall return of investment is positive..

I use MA 1200 series. The power amp. is SA-100 from China ,This speaker havn't got impressive sound since over 15 years even push by DIY tube or DC Class A power amp.

there are 2 airholes on the speakers, one at the front and one at the back.

normally when do we need to block them? what's the difference if we block the front, or the back, or both?

I used to own MA800, Studio 6, Studio 10 & Studio 12.......sold them all few yrs ago! Now, I regret to sell the Studio 10. It's one of the best bookshelf spk ever made!!
