McIntosh 機咁重，寄 McIntosh 機去維修運費唔知幾多。

算運費唔係問題，寄 McIntosh 機一定要 pack 得好好，運送途中唔可以有震盪，震盪會整壞個錶, 佢個錶好敏感架，到時候又要寄去修理。

現代的機唔同以前的機，以前的機壞左求其搵個師傅都可以修理好，最多無完裝零件，但至低限度可以出聲。現代機有好多電子組件同電腦軟件，呢尐電子野一定要原廠先可以同你搞或者 reset 個 program, 用水貨機電子部分出錯代價會好大。

其實買得水貨平d預阻無售後架啦，代理如果照樣俾同行貨的服務你，反而對買行貨的唔公平，當然唔整其實唔係太好，不過人地公司政策係咁你無得強迫，而收貴d就係合理。

from your information, it seems mcintosh have only 230v ac power transformer for hong kong and european region .(220v to 240v)

and there is no way to change it to 220v unless mcintosh help you to rewind the transformer match hk s ac voltage 220v.

I bought a water goods Power amp from the state. The factory set the voltage for me in respect to my country and only 3 options:100V 120V and 230V...there is no 220V fro the factory...should I change it to 220V in Hong Kong?

if you can open the case, you can check whether they 220v and 230v using the same power transformer

from all i know, us 110v and japan 100v version mcintosh product using different power transformer

There should not be any hardware difference between 230V or 220V. Unless it is a very popular item that some manufacturers, used to be when hifi was popular, they may set it differently.

The concern is whether there are cheaper water goods elsewhere from Hong Kong. May be it is a 2nd hand, refurbrished item, then it makes senses. Otherwise, Hong Kong price should be OK.

have tested my ac voltage at home exactly 220v and i am living in hong kong island.

although 6% tolearance with 220v , 229v still little bit exaggerated to me
