| [#8] Looking for help to setup ROON As of March 2020, my standard recommendation for Roon Core ROCK is NUC8i7BEH with no less than 8GB RAM, no less than 128GB m.2 SSD for Roon database, and a 2.5" drive for music in an Akasa Plato X8 fanless case. Roon nucleus 係簡單、要睇你想點玩同你的dac, 因為nucleus係linux改成系統usb driver是對upsample及dsd native playback有關係、通用driver可以出到聲但限制upsample rate, 如調不到32bit 384khz或轉不到dsd256 native等問題、他見意用win10裝上dac asio driver, 因大部份近代USB dac廠商都有提供. 最後修改時間: 2020-03-03 19:06:48 |

| [#18] Looking for help to setup ROON 我的愚見是，不能單看一樣。 如果你的糸统在 lan 上比較 dirty, 例如在我家用 homeplug, audio grade switch 就十分有用，我用2 個 audio grade switch 行 double run. 當然做 lan isolation 有很多方法，用NAS 的 dual lan port 也是一方法 如果假設所有嘢没有改變，我覺得 end point 的質素好影響由 endpoint USB 到 DAC. 當然我假設 endpoint 是用 USB 到 DAC. Endpoint 的 USB isolation 做得好和有 reclock 再加上有好的 lps 绝對影響 sound quality. 當然如果你的 endpoint 沒有做 reclock 和好的 USB isolation , 你可以用另外加在 DAC 和 endpoint 中間， eg uptone Iusb power 或 Sotm TX-usbultra. Roon core 和endpoint 分開了, Roon core 影響是比較少的，當然是不理 DSP upsample 的 factor. Roon core 交到 endpoint 是要用 audio distribution technology 所以有人不用 Roon built in RAAT , 改用 NAA, 我用 hqplayer 就是其中一個原用，在些不評論 RAAT 好定NAA 好。經過 lan 到 endpoint, 綱络的影響是有的，多少問題，可以慢慢optimize上去。 |
