| [#69] 退燒集中營 I guess the hifi journey is never ending thou I don't consider myself as audiophile any more. Afterall, we need a proper system to listen to our beloved music. In the past, I would keep changing and trying gears to hope to get the best sound possible within my reach. I got excited just to anticipate what gears to change and what would be improved ideally. Now, I still get curious in equipment once in a while but the idea of having to adjust the system to cope with new potential changes really turn me off. In short, in the past, I look foward to "upgrade"/changes. Now, I naturally think about drawbacks first whenever I am eyeing on any new addition. This kills the fun. | [#68] 退燒集中營 退烧后很多时候都会再发烧的。本人也经历多次不再换器材甚至卖掉全部器材的阶段但又番烧。器材能把好的录音及动听的音乐演绎得更好，但不是没有好的器材就不能欣赏音乐。 在能力范围内适当更换/改善器材增加听音乐的乐趣不是坏事，但就怕燒得不理智地盲目追求更“高级”更“好声”的器材。 最後修改時間: 2020-01-03 10:50:21 |

| [#63] 退燒集中營 1) no time: as one gets older there are different priorities 2) no space: enough said and the raise in popularity / quality of head-fi 3) wiser: it's more easier to do online review and comparison and there aren't that many things worth upgrading. Diminishing returns plays a big role too, if I can spend 10% of the money achieving 90% of the goal why would one want to upgrade? 4) no new source to listen (when one get older, hard to accept new thing perhaps?). Having Tidal and online streaming helps though.. 5) less active second-hand market than before |

This is why I and a few more friends who come out more often again and trying to help save this special hifi haven that we spent time and effort in the past decades. |

| [#58] 退燒集中營 interesting topic .. . . i am 54 years old , listening to music since mid 70s play low fi, mid fi and then mid hi fi now I used to buy new LPs and CDs at least once a month and had accumulated about 800 CD now ( used to have 200 LPs in late 80s, now left with about 100 ). But I have not bought any CD for over 2 years. Can't find the interest to spend hkd 100 on anything. Not the pop music, not to hifi CD, and not the jazz that I used to loke to listen to. Afterall, 800 CD burnt into 350GB of music is more than enough for me to enjoy. I was introduced to this review33 in 2004 by a friend and because of the second hand market at that time I changed something regularly, about once or twice a year. Now, I have not changed gears for more than 18 months, and last time I changed something was purely due to house moving. I dont want to pay too much to buy the new gears that offer nothing new and are not anywhere better. I find it frustrating to trade in second hand market here with too many, way too many , suspicious posts. I really dont know what they were looking for by posting so many fake posts here . I am still coming up here to look at what people say. This is a habit for 15 years now, and this is the most interest post I have seen in years here ( not to mention it is started by someone I don't know but using the name of the band that I like a lot ) |
