| [#16] 中国制LS3/5A 從網上得知,真正BBC 3/5A必須用KEF T27高音,B110底音及3/5A專用分器(11ohm 或 15ohm). 如Rogers 65週年版不是用它們,這只能叫3/5A型号而不是真正的3/5A及真正3/5A声音. ------------------------------------------------ It is a bit more than that. The original 15 ohm used the KEF T27 SP1032 tweeter, KEF B110 SP1003 woofer, and a cross-over designed for these drivers. Later on, due to QA problem for the B110 SP1003, its production was discontinued by KEF. A new woofer B110 SP1228 was developed but it has different spec compare to SP1003. Therefore, BBC/Rogers has to design a new cross-over for the new LS3/5A and was known as the "11 ohm version". As the specification is different, it should have been called LS3/5B or LS3/5A V2. With KEF ceased production of T27 and B110, many companies produced similar sized speakers with different drivers, x-overs, different spec and different sound ... and still called them "LS3/5A". Actually, BBC ceased licensing/endorsment of speakers for many decades, and was not directly involved in any commercial authorisation of the name "BBC" or "LS3/5A". I believe such authorisation is now done by a subsidary of Siemens. |
