| [#22] 電腦Vs music streamer I also used to connect macbook to dac directly few years ago. Then later added a network bridge (Allo Usbridge) as roon endpoint — sound is 2x improvement I also use ifi iusb 3.0 before usb signal going into dac. 30% improvement Later i added an audio grade switch for reclocking signal , fed by LPS ( not sure if sound improved) Recently changed Allo Usbridge to Allo Usbridge signature — another 20% improvement I find more high quality filters and reclocking along the signal path improves sound quality with more details and musicality+ less rough edge May be Jitter is improved. The experience is very different from conventional sources, when a simple path sounds better |

| [#30] 電腦Vs music streamer Re #28 Allo usbridge is a network bridge It takes data from your network via LAN cable then overt it into usb signal. U can also use similar devices to change it to Spdif signal. Main problem with computer as source is a lot of jitter. The network bridge separate the signal chain from your computer The lan signal can be either thru your modem via wifi or another lan line into your computer. There are audio grade modem or switches ( good dedicated clocks) that makes the LAN line signal better before it goes into the network bridge. |
