[#1] 「一言難盡」的hi-fi經驗    
在這先分享一宗一言難盡的醜事:

話說當在eBay睇中英國一對後級, 睇賣家啲feedback又唔錯, 價錢又平宜, 於是決定buy it now搏鎚!

習慣上買咗嘢馬上畀錢, 點知過兩日賣家寫過嚟話出機前小心啲, 搵朋友check清楚對機, 發現其中一隻output可能有問題, 又話想找technician check清楚, 過咗一個禮拜都未有回音, 寫message畀佢又話去咗旅行, 又拖咗兩個禮拜, 我頂唔順, 其實又驚過咗兩個月投訴期, 等夠時間去eBay投訴話未收到貨!

點知投訴咗佢之後個賣家紮紮跳, 話我開咗file投訴, 又話好心著雷劈, 搞到佢退唔到啲eBay fees, 話要記對後級畀我, 因為佢話佢自己都未check清楚, 可能正常.... 你哋話收唔收貨好....!

諗落都係搏唔過, 話唔收貨!

Some UK ebay seller are not trustworthy.
This seller made himself fishy so it is not your fault. You don't have to pay anything for him and just get the money is fine.

Well what can I say as no one wants a bad experience in buying items.

This is more so with ebay.

From a seller point of view I think he was guilty of not checking the items thoroughly before listing. I have no idea how experienced this seller with ebaying. I give him the benefit of doubt that he is experienced since you mention that he has good feedbacks. I think he realised that the amps would be going to HK and he worried about the possibility of a complaint of "items not as described" or "the item arrived defective" or "the item is faulty" and he would need to bear too much risk of not just refunding the total purchase but also the cost to cover the return postage. I believe he could be in good intention to let you know that he would check it over and make sure that the amps are in good health before sending.

The concept of time between the People in the UK and in HK could be quite different, from a personal experience point of view. Everything in life in HK seems going in the light-year pace while people in the UK would think it takes as much time as it needs to get it done. In your case it may take the repair shop weeks before they could tell the fault and give the estimate. It was my own experience as well.

You argue that the UK sellers are not trustworthy and you may be right as there is always a black sheep in the family. With the same token among the sellers in the UK they also claim that most buyers from the Far East are very dodgy(with Japanese the exceptional). They could always find so called "faults" in the item. They do not want to return the item but will claim the item is imperfect and they would like to ask for a partial refund. Most of the times, the sellers will agree because they want to get the issue sorted as quickly as possible for the peace of mind.

Again, you may disagree and I don't blame you for that.

Perhaps you will see many sellers would ask the buyers to contact them first before filing a claim because this would lead to their accounts being inactive, especially if you use Paypal.

Everyone wants a smooth and successful transaction, and a bargain. Sometimes things might turn out much more complicated than you initially anticipated.

BTW, I am not the seller in this case.

我覺得你都係唔要好喇!佢又話明未check好!分分鐘佢寄件有問題機俾你你都吹佢唔賬!賣方未check清楚件機就放賣踉本就係佢責任!通常賣嘢過程中有太多阻滯都大可能只係賣家藉囗!拖下拖下佢就不了了之!況且已經唔係遲咗幾日了! 及早截停為上策!

樓主, 一定唔好要,如果死牛,就仆街烏! 我在EBAY買過嘅嘢,大大話話超過一球有多,成交紀錄一個A4紙盒(成呎高那些)都裝唔哂, 以過來人經驗我話你知,一定唔好要, EBAY Fee亦可以唔好俾,如果少錢就俾(當破財擋災), EBAY及淘寶原理多一樣,沒有冇原冇固的平,我交EBAY學費都唔少,後期Dseller 成交宗數唔多,唔過一干幾百,沒有100%或99%以上 feedback 我都唔會幫襯.當睇中貨就要不恥下問,清清楚楚,一有含糊立即退,例如...應該Work,幾個月前仲聽緊,我收返嚟,機主話Work,我介器材試,可以Power Up, 如果話sell as it,就更加唔好制, 成交後一收唔到貨即投訢唔好拖,要經paypal交易,唔好試經其它途徑或型式交款,一定死!

是的, 當時要幫賣家俾ebay fees, 條氣係唔順!

但諗深一層, 如果賣家將套機寄出, 我收到套機發覺唔妥, 投訴not as described, 要等eBay裁決, 確認投訴成立, 先可以寄番俾佢...
按當年eBay規矩, return postage要買家出, 仲要等賣家收到套機先有full refund, 一來夜長夢多, 二來可能仲貴過俾eBay fees...

一言難盡...

依家形勢引變咗,eBay 係偏重買家福利;
最緊要付款交易同番eBay而不取PayPal ;係最新趨勢,(滙率比eBay較差
貨品到手後發現不對辧(與賣方說明不一樣)或運送途中破損,
祇要提交圖片或其他証據( 並有直接電話真人接聽,講廣東話的),
貨品eBay會full refund,而且很快;
兼且賣家要付「貨品交回運費」
一般來說,現在賣家寄貨前會比以往謹慎。

Ebay 偏向盡量保障買家.一經投訴賣家戶口. Paypal即時被鎖起特定銀碼.
直到解決為止或全數退款.
賣家是沒有保障的.

That was in the distant past.

I recently bought a £500 LP and it didn't reach my expectation in terms of condition. I explained to the seller and he agreed to refund me fully. Unfortunately he couldn't provide a return label but asked me to send registered and he would pay me back for the return postage. And he did.

Anyway, ebay also encourages buyer and seller to communicate first before filing a claim. It takes two to tango so it could only be fair to both buyer and seller if they are given opportunity to discuss the issues.

Expectations are always different and that is why the old saying from BT is true.

"It's always good to talk".

BTW, I buy a lot on ebay but also sell a little bit because I can't always buy new things without selling some to give space. My CEO would have me divorced many million times if I just buy.

Apart from pictures to show details I would also post video to show the item. I would show the functions to make sure the buyers get as much information as possible to make their choice.

是的, 都有七八年前了, 現在eBay是保障買家多咗, return postage是賣家出.

所以好多時候, 買家有投訴, 賣家都唔想嘥錢俾return postage收返件貨, 寧願俾partial refund, settle咗就算.

其實我在eBay大部分經驗都是良好的, 就算收到件貨有乜唔滿意, 有傾有講, 尋求共識, 達致共贏.

不過早期, 十幾年前啱啱開始玩eBay嘅時候,都有三幾次中招, 都好傷!

以下事件只是上两個月發生:
我賣咗一粒古董旋紐去美國東岸一個似是韓國人名買家,我把郵局收條及小包裹影咗相才寄出。通常两星期便到達,此人差不多两星期便用ebay訊息話我知還未收到。我回覆要稍等,我亦有相片記錄。地址我通常check前后三次,也寫得公整清楚。跟著收到ebay介入,要我出示郵件跟踪証明,又不讓我把資料附帶在電郵寄回。因為買方一直都沒有要求寄掛號可跟踪郵件,所以我未能滿足ebay要求的tracking info,最終ebay指令Paypal從我account全數扣除,還給買家。我在ebay有2O年買賣,百份之九十九鬼佬,日本人都十分誠實,韓國,小歐洲國家,東南亞要小心,尤其是韓國。

我試過有呢個經驗;
係ebay度買咗條線, 寄咗一個月都唔知去咗邊!
Tracking system就話佢去咗泰國, 一路都未到香港, 我去ebay投訴話收唔到貨, eBay裁決我勝訴, 即時refund.
點知條線喺refund之後兩個禮拜後收到! 寄咗兩個月, 對方去去郵局check, 話好可能是誤投, 我收到條線後,俾番啲錢賣家, 對方十分高興!

其實有人話只試功能唔試口味。咁去日本拍賣都一樣買到已試功能的機。重便小小。

我自1997年開始使用Ebay, 當年因在UK剛剛開始故確是尋寶之處。

手表,相机,水筆,古董及唱片樣樣都有,當然有得有失,那時還未有PayPal 及其保障制度,交收一是本地銀行或足Western Union, WU最没保障,最惨情是失了因一隻PP表失了£2000,報了警也沒用。

同樣也得了寶,一賣家job lot一批手表,我用了US$20投得,其中一隻係Lange & Sohn概Big Date, 另一隻是Blancpain概Aqualung.

我現在如在ebay出售任何東西一定係Track and Sign, 绝無例外,郵費可能貴過實物,但為免麻煩這是我基本條件,絕不例外,買家可得卻步但對大家公平。

我相信買賣相方現在巳習慣了。
