| [#808] Elekit 同好會 I have tried one pair 12E1 on my 8200r for a few hours. Work Ok, music is fine and good. Only the body case seem warmer than usual (subjectively) Pull it out afterwards, not sure long term use will do anything to the amp. I check the 8300 has different biasing system with the 8200. 8300 is kind of auto-fix biasing design, while 8200 is auto-biasing. |

| [#804] Elekit 同好會 I found the schematic. I see that the TU-8200 is a single-ended amplifier with automatic idle current adjustment with use of an op-amp. There is no adjustment pot available for the bias in case changing with different tube than 6L6. Please understand that the CV345 is NOT the direct replacement of 6L6. | [#803] Elekit 同好會 After checking the datasheet of the CV345 which is a power tetrode with similar characteristic of the 6L6, I believe it can be used in the TU-8200R. Of course, the CV345 anode is at the Top Cap which needs to be connected to pin 3 of the 6L6 socket. The bias may need to be adjusted too. Johnny |
