| [#18] 入門黑膠推介 a facebook story about LP "So I was at the record store yesterday getting supplies and a gentleman came in with a metal planter full of records, rocks and some small garbage. Apparently been sitting in the shed by the garbage can for a few years. They bought it for 20. I asked if I could have a look after he left. I got the 2 Beatles, a Doors, and Pink Floyed dark side of the moon. The covers are split on all sides (sorry I don’t have more pics) and heavily snow flaked. Except the Floyd isn’t badly snow flaked. The vinyl was extremely dirty and seemed damaged. I said I’ll take a chance and see what I can do. I got the 4 for $10 total. I washed them in the ultra so nice cleaner for 2 cycles, 1hr than hand washed and ran them through the ultrasonic again. After all this I played them at at the loudest I listen to and only a couple barely audible crackles. Ooooo me so happy. Taped the covers back together and respected everything so I can enjoy for awhile. Aventually I’ll come acrosssome nice covers to replace them. Yes I know long and sorry I didn’t take more pics."  |
