| [#1] 障板之外 - Crescendo Horn 我玩了Bastanis 障板多年，中毒已深。不過也有另一至愛，就係一套horn kit, 叫Crescendo System. Horn頭係ribbon 加 金屬horn, 1st order cutoff 落到600hz. Sensitivity is 100db. 低音卻是到60hz,以下由active bass 負責。由於已有校Bastanis 經驗，所以調校不難，原本套kit是有提供低音的，不過我既然有Bastanis 18" dipole woofer 同XTZ sub amp, 我就來一個山寨版高效100db "Celestion system 6000" . 套kit 來自diyhifisupply.com, 設計者為Thorsten Loesch. 我套是demo clearance , 箱有些瑕疵，不過我不介意，因為已砌好，唔洗動手。  |

| [#9] 障板之外 - Crescendo Horn Dynamics is on par if not better than my Bastanis baffle. It is quite scary even driven by my 300B se (5w rated only in my design). Don't underestimate that 8" mid-bass driver under the horn, they have a very light paper cone similar to Lowther (..only about 8g or less if I remember correctly) and a very strong magnet, guarantees a very smooth transition around the crossover region on the time domain. |

He has been through studio monitors, open baffle, big horns, lowther (Beauhorn) and Feastrex and this is the speaker he can satisfy himself without bringing home the size of a large refrigerator. |
