| [#17] UK 插頭裡面 代替 fuse 果條 銅 bar Among copper bar, Bussman fuse, MK fuse, Russ Andrews 13A fuse, Hifi Tuning fuse, Hifi tuning fuse sounds the best. If I remember correctly, copper sounds "noisy". Bussman sounds "normal" but "boring". Russ Andrews improves the system a lot as it makes everything very quiet and "dark" and improves the sound stage quite a bit. Hifi Tuning is a step up from Russ Andrews but the improvement is not as dramatic as Russ Andrews over Bussman/MK fuse. Incredible - but you can actually hear a difference from fuse change. |

Now, I am only guessing :- Copper bar is good for subwoofers and high current amplifiers as it facilitates better flow of electricity HiFi tuning fuse is better for CD players and Pre-amplifiers as it delivers electricity in a more delicate way. |

| [#20] UK 插頭裡面 代替 fuse 果條 銅 bar Contrary to what you are guessing, 13A fuses are mostly for power amp, subwoofer, but not for pre-amp nor CD player as these low power devices can be plugged into a power plant with US mains cables (no fuses). For power amp, subwoofer, they are required to plug into the wall directly with UK plugs that have 13A fuses. Copper bar would not increase current flow - at least I cannot hear it - but with a nice Bussmann fuse (generally recognized as the best sounding ceramic fuse), you can hear the sound with more quiet background, clearer image, and less edgy feeling. Bussmann fuse can be purchased from RS Online @ $2.21 per piece. You can buy a copper bar @ about $10 (long time ago when I got it), a Russ Andrews at about $30. Easy to try and hear the difference. |
