也去買了一個紅铜環,2吋長/1.5吋闊,套一在絛PS audio 電源線個Wattgate female 電插上供電給那個integrated 膽機, 效果同幾位朋友十分接近,背景是明顯靜了,音塲是深了點,空間感多了,樂器聲整齊了,低頻緊了而少了豐滿感示"音樂味",有點像alman說的呆板.

相信用不同金屬套會有不同音色.紅铜環會加了點紅銅温暖的音色.於鋼琴聲尤其容易聽出.不過銅環要緊貼着機殼,互相接觸.在我的情况,銅環只可接觸到機後IEC插兩邊的鏍絲.

我前日試過,對摺再對摺共8層家用錫紙,可是聽不出分別.

另外,有些銅水喉,應該夠大罩住個尾插,可去五金鋪找到,不過賣親都斷尺計.

Very interesting and informative findings.

Shielding: I'm looking for opinions from brothers. For diyers, how about having the IEC cable end be covered with those flexible knitted mateljackets and have the jacket connected with the ground of the power cord? (something like the the jacket for SOMMER Stratos, if you know what I meant).

That come to my second question, if your power cord is properly shielded, would you still need the bass ring?

I know that Audioquest have high-end battery-powered shielding, however, I don't know how to diy.

Even when power cord is properly shielded, it esn't include/cover the power plugs at both ends.

Just my humble opinions.

I am not sure the copper ring actually need to touch the chasis, even if it cannot be done, one can use a small wire from the copper ring to the chasis. Mine can only touches the screw of the IEC. Anyway might try to use a lead wire and see if it makes any different. 1.5 inches copper ring (or call reducer or coupler) should be readily availble at hardware store that sell metal pipe but anything bigger than 1.5 inches in diameter then try your luck. One can also put some sound absorb material for the damping as well (or as a way to firmly cover the IEC plug). Can anyone also upload some of their copper "ring" to share?

What happen if the EMI begin to impact inside the case ?

My thought is we still have 1 feet long power cord inside the machine which is affecting the components there.

Isn't it more effective if we tweak things inside ?

剛剛完成了測試
不鏽鋼環加上接地線之後,高頻被吃得更多
本來下潛得很順的低頻,突然沉不下去
變成某一波段凸起,唔好聽

地線一拔走...音色回復自然
所以"我的結論"是不用接地,套住就好

都有自已加機殼接地...而且都是食專電
也許已經夠了,再多就影響到音色

所以我也決定把它拿下來不套了
基本上我的系統算厚實派...細節不能更少
但這依然是個不錯的經驗
而起碼...還有一個套在PC上,不過PC沒接HIFI

留心去聽,銅環貼不貼到機殼會有很大分別.貼到機殼會把"雜質"帶走.正如以上的朋友說,聲音可能會變得大乾淨,像渴蒸溜水般淡而無乜味.
