| [#2] ＜10K fully auto turntable reccomendation For vintage... Dual idler 1219,1229 or direct drive upper model is fine.. Usually below 3K If u have luck.. U can find a nice b&o too There are some with servo tonearm too, but I prefer simple mechanical arm For new.. I do not think any high hand use any of those automatic new table.. Haha I have a few vintage automatic tabel.. From Elac is really interesting too... I enjoy both dual and elac I also have some relatively newer nut also more. Than 30 yrs old.. It is a luxman.. PD28X forget the exact model no.... It is quite good too I guess no many high hand use those new automatic Am not high hand too haha, and do enjoy turntable very much i help friend to set up those new tables too...those table cost a few K...do notice their off the self tonearm is really not good at all in term of workmanship or tolerance , be fair..cannot compare to those old things ( cost related...i suppose ) give some good working condition vintage some consideration too Haha 最後修改時間: 2022-01-12 00:49:01 |

| [#5] ＜10K fully auto turntable reccomendation Thanks for the time and comments for me, semi auto means auto tone arm return, and fully auto means auto start auto stop. I am not referring to those linear tracking turntable from Technics or B&O ( I was rather crazy about them 40 years ago but could not afford them ) I am under the impression that the above are pretty standard definitions, maybe not, but anyway.. . ..... Understood most people who do not want to compromise on sound quality do not use auto turntable. I am very much willing to compromise the sound quality for convenience though if it means easier operations or nicer look. Just wondering if anyone has a good idea where or what to pick if that's your cup of tea. much appreciated |

| [#7] ＜10K fully auto turntable reccomendation I am using a pioneer pl-l5 linear turntable and it's fully automatic with auto start and auto stop and return to station. This is very user friendly yet with very high sound quality I owned a Yamaha px-2 as well and it sounds good as well with automatic start and stop function. The Technics SL linear tracking series was also good and compact. It's easy to use like playing CD. Japanese produced lot of good automatic turntables in the 80's when their industry was blooming at that time. The 2nd hand price is very affordable now a day. It worth to spend some time to search the web for some good turntable you like. |

At a certain point I think I will spend 2-3K to buy a linear tracking Technics just because I want them so much 40 years ago ( when I was using a 3-in-1 JVC worth HKD 2K new at that time ) for the fun.
