| [#10] 有冇人仲玩LD ? I still have a Pioneer CLD-770. It is a Japan version with one more leg in the middle of the chassis. Couldn't remember the model no. in HK. I am using it for playing CD only since I do not have any LD disc. If anybody interested, I can sell it. |

| [#11] 有冇人仲玩LD ? LD-X1 or HLD-X0 plus a good scaler is still worth seeing. LD's sound is more powerful and solid. Without compression, the picture also has its merit, too. |

| [#15] 有冇人仲玩LD ? 我是LD的Die Hard 派，，在1987年己開始玩。LD機是Pioneer，什蔚爰馱v忘記。當年買LD碟很貴，$800 to $1000左右，只好租。95年換了Pioneer CLD-R4，朋友也送了一部Pioneer CLD-3393. 98年買了全新Pioneer X-9 and 二手X0。由於當年的LD碟仍然很貴，我只好買二手，全部都是Criterion LD and some Box Set. Pioneer X-9 and X0是我的收葴，永p賣出。雖然我也喜歡HD-DVD or BD 。 |

| [#17] 有冇人仲玩LD ? Yes I am still playing LD, with Pioneer CLD98, into my plasma without line doubler. To get optimal performance I need to use 4:3 aspect. The colour is more vivid than DVD, but DVD gets 16:9 format. I think their sound performance is similar sepcially for digital tracks One advantage is that LD is dirt cheap. |
