| [#2] Naim hi-cap / supernait 2 cd5xs is the only naim source that uses "Cap". all the others use "xp" or even 555PS. whether to use hicap to cd5xs, is a matter of preference. the very forward soundstage presented by adding hicap to cd5xs is not too well received by a lot of ears. |

| [#9] Naim hi-cap / supernait 2 Thanks Chung904 I have CD5XS, Supernait, nDAC and TeddyCap. As I use the CD5XS only as transport, so I don't think it need the boost from an external PSU. Therefore I use the TeddyCap with the Supernait and I like the improvement. Tighter base, wider and deeper sound. I cannot care much whether it is still naim sound or not. |
