This morning I also take the opportunity to compare the Audio Note M1 with the Trichord Dino phono preamp.

I feel the low gain from M1(42db) is lacking some dynamic from the Dino(48db). I wonder if the combo of E80CC with M1 would have balanced the combo of Sylvania 6189W with Dino.

I have my impression and how would yu feel about the difference?

Gidon Kremer always reminds of Kogan.

Dome even suggested that he is the new Kogan. Not sure if I would know about it. There is no doubt that Kremer is a fine violinist.

I love this recording because it features my favourite viola artist, Kim Kashkashian.

My violinist friend said the Sibelius Violin Concerto is one difficult piece of violin concerto to play.

I don't ow how to play by listening to it all these years I am going to agree with him.

Some said Heifetz played the best but I do like the interpretation by Accardo.

Waking up this morning to watch the F1 and lovely to see the sun with clear sky.

I think this Haydn "Sunrise-Strings Quartet" is just perfect to start .

Then swapping to the AD1852 DAC and played with Cd's.

It performs much better with better dynamic and details.

The last CD is a collaboration between Lyrita and QUAD. It will be appropriate since I am using QUAD 606 Power Amp.

Played some classical tonight but my apology that some records are quite noisy since not listening for a while. they develop very strong static noise.

It seems the AN M1 is not quite working well with some complex classical due to low gain.

I also extend the width of two speakers to try new position.

Would these stands improve? Or it's just a farce!!!

In order to record the audition sitting position I go back to standard recording setting from the ZOOM H4e with the X-Y mic, instead of 4-Mic recording.
