| [#13] Cassette deck, 仲有無人玩呢? Oh yes, if one get a good quality cassette deck and good alignment, it sound amazingly good. The top rated vintage Akai deck is really good while their Super GX head is virtually undestructable. My another Nakamichi CR-2 is also very good too. I played back my tape while recording in 1980's, and those oldies is still amazingly good too. Analog still rule. |

What it the reason still keeping a Cassette deck ? -------------------------------------------------- I do keep one (not the vintage ones the guys shown here) and I don't use it any more. Not sure about why still keeping the casette deck. Well, it occupies some space, however I think it is quite cruel to dump your 10 to 20 year-old friends when they still in good shape and servicable? PS: at times I will switch on the 'monitor mode' of my amp while playing the cd so that I can watch the deck's fluorescence meter going up and down (what a eerie habit :)) |

| [#19] Cassette deck, 仲有無人玩呢? Hi 254mm, Long time no see. Talking about cassette deck, I can still recall my brother bought a Technics cassette deck about twenty-ish years ago. What a fascinating moment when a tape was played in the dark with the FL meter popping up and down, it seemed that the deck was alive to me (spooky~~). And the deck compartment would never spring out the tape like most of my friend's decks when you pressed the 'eject' button; as it used hydraulic mechanism to unload the tape. That Technics was a 2-head deck and I could not instantly monitor the record level; of which later to be found out several dB under in each channel. At that time my dream deck was the Nakamichi Dragon which costed you a hell bunch of money, and of course I never had one. |

| [#20] Cassette deck, 仲有無人玩呢? My GX-C750D is a Three Head Deck with instant replay after recording. So the sound can adjusted during recording to optimize the sound effect. Mine is in perfect condirtions still. |
