| [#1] LP carts - Denon 103 or Denon 301 dear ching, i have been using Shure 97XE for almost two year and always feel that the sound is not very transparent and airy - quite a big different as compare to playing CD or SACD in my system. I saw on the Hido net from Japan and there is a 2nd hand denon 103 and Denon 301. Both are around HK$1,000. Can you ching advise if these two carts are better than my 97XE? Many thanks. |

IMHO, T-3 is of entry level(cost) but if we match with suitable MC carts, the sonic performance could be "pretty good & pleasing".
