| [#3] Sonus Faber 同好會 I had owned the Signum for 3.5 years and I sold it two months ago with the Proac Future 0.5 floorstanding speakers as replacement. Proac "Future" speaker which is no longer in production is really goods in all aspects - skyhigh yet noble treble, punch and quality bass....but the midrange is still not so musical as that of the "Signum". As a diehard fan of SF, I will be back if I had money to upgrade to the Homage series....hehe.. For the new speaker series of SF including the Cremona, they are not exactly my cup of tea becasue the sonic character of the new series is somewhat different from the "Classic" & "Homage" series. Just my opinion.. Cheers! |

| [#8] Sonus Faber 同好會 I used to own Concertino (not home). I switched to Proac 1SC two months ago but I still miss the "musicality" of the Concertino. Proac speaker box is a box whereas SF box is crafted to imitate a wooden musical instrument like violin and piano. My advise is that don't sell SF unless replace by higher model SF. |
