| [#21] Revox B225 vs Revox B226s cd880,cdm1頭,用原裝電源線 cd850,cdm4頭.電源線用大陸平線diy. 衹玩頭,兩部機都加同一解碼,用同一係統. 850 mk2我就無比較過,950(已換clock,627am,電容),960,880,226s每部機都用同一電源線直焊機內,直接接在電源蘇底,在加同一解碼同一系統.結果950輸好遠,不論分析力,密度,音樂感都輸,差2級,好明顯聽得到同其它3部的差別,其他cdm1相差很少,要好留心才聽到 |

| [#14] Revox B225 vs Revox B226s It is more appropriate to say which kind of sound character you like more instead of which is better. It is very difficult to say how the Philips chipset engineer decide what objective they have in mind to produce such design in both analog and digital. Surely there were marketing influence behind. Technically the analog stage of Revox B225 and B226S were aimed for different generation music trend as well as gear matching purpose. Philips 850 CD was almost the last audiophile CDP by the company. Judging from the selling price now and then; Revox is almost 2 time higher than 850MKII just to reflect the build quality and market segment in real world. For my personal choice; I would recommend B226S instead of the other 2 for a few reasons: a)it used CDM4 which is easier for future maintenance. b)it has digital output for connection to dac. c) the S series employed best components from Revox engineers for critical music reproduction; particular the power transformer it used. d)it can take remote control. e)the stylish faceplate. f)very good resell value and a seek-after item for many experienced audiophiles.
