Melbourne actually has an audiophile circle that is very very high fever but very closed and I never got a chance to hook up with them. Anyway, the live music in Melbourne is very nice and the orchestra is high standard. Hope to visit you one day! Cheers. |

| [#24] R33 海外同好會 Yukclee，you are big 師兄though. late eighties (1989 dec) it was my arrival touched down Carton Melbourne. Indeed Melbourne is a city with full of cultural characters people enjoy the life quality including music. I like the relatively cozy music hall, Melbourne Townhall used to my favorites one, many state or national orchestras performed there. Melbourne Recital Centre is another MUST visit place. Previous event was Angela Hewitt a great Bach pianist from Canada! Also you can forget the Bennetts Lane in the city for Jazz. We do have quite a few 發燒友here and regularly get to together drinking eating and enjoying the music. It would be lovely to have you over Lee兄！ |

| [#25] R33 海外同好會 Jimmie88 hing, I lived in Melbourne from 87-92. I haven't gone back to Melbourne for more than 7 years until last Nov. Still a lot of things changed. Things are getting quite expensive. When I was there, not much hifi really. I was a young guy and only have an ARC SP9 + Adcom GFA555 driving a pair of Celesion SL6. The frontend was a Meridian CDP. My speaker and power amp. were still in Australia with my brother. I probably will go to Melbourne again in May. Hope to visit you by then...:-) Australia |

I will never ever forget the days I had to go to high school on my push bike from Carton to St Kilda - Unions took over all public transport and went strike from tram to trains. Incredible government can be never trusted! ARC SP-9, Meridian CDP was regarded as premium back to eighties. I was so excited to have my CD player in my little Nisan Pulsar in 1990. I would be more than happy to catch up with you in May if I am working in the town (Melbourne). |

| [#37] R33 海外同好會 Jimmiee88 hing, That is a very nice music room setup!! And what an Altec system! I only have 1 pair of LS3/5a left now - a Rogers studio verion (using XLR input). For main system, I am using Cello Suite+Palette+ML20.6 (switch to Burmester in the hot summer days) driving Tannoy RHR speaker. Frontend CD is ML31.5+30.6, LP is Verdier Platine with Vendetta Research phono. Yet no way I have a music den as good as yours! :-) |
