| [#5] Audio-GD Headphone Amp Club Oyaide F510 is a 5N silver coaxial cable, I bought the bare cable to diy myself. In the market, there are many OEM cable maker, and many are silver plated OFC, but Oyaide is having Furukawa to make the cable for them. In Japan, there are only few bare copper cable maker : Hitachi, Furukawa and sumitomo. And many are buying the OFC cable from them. So it is better to know it and buy their products directly. I made 2 pcs F510 at less than $1000 with cable and plugs. |

| [#10] Audio-GD Headphone Amp Club Finally have time to settle down and do a A/B test of DT880 with balanced plug and 6.3mm plug which are linking to NFB-10. Very surprise, the result is that the same headphone perform very different when using different plugs. When using balanced plug, the soundstage is more clear, more energy and density in all levels, more open ..... My feeling is that I will not go back to 6.3mm plug again. I need more time to find out why there so much difference. Caused by the amp? nature of balanced and unbalance? Any C hing also has similar experience? |
