[#1] ATC SCM7 開箱與討教（新手入門）是咁的小弟我CDROM趴文跟試聽兩個月以後，決定買了 ATC SCM 7 仔（KEF LS50 和 R300 FINALCANDIDATES Too，晚一點說）請各師兄幫忙解答。本帖最後由 bewater 於 2015-11-8 23:37 編輯 image.jpeg 是咁的小弟我CDROM趴文跟試聽兩個月以後，決定買了 ATC SCM 7 仔（KEF LS50 和 R300 FINALCANDIDATES Too，晚一點說）。先來一些開箱相片再有一些問題，煩請各師兄幫忙解答。 image.jpeg 問題： 1。WOOFER單元其中一隻好像七點鐘位置有一些膠水滴了下來，很小很小的手工問題，應該不會影響聲音。我是從代理新買的。你們會建議換一對嗎（請看圖）。 2。想先買了喇叭再慢慢升級其他器材。現在還有大概13～15K 筆直。知道7仔難推。現在有的是一部中價位的AV receiver （DENON AVR X3200）。聲音原是XBOX360 和 IPHONE6 AIRPLAY。 Okay音質一定不會太好，把七仔發揮到。我想問的是，究竟我應該買機的次序。我發現聽acoustic中高音還過得去我發現低音，在聽HIPHOP，ROCK，DANCE，RAP，跟R&B都不夠爆，潛得不夠低，可能一部份是物理問題（本來想買SCM11可是老婆說太大了，都會打算買SUBWOOFER因為我很喜歡低音鼓聲的節奏感，那我應該買 a. 一部的POWERAMP來推好對7仔先，還是買SUBwoofer先？還是解決音源問題？13～15K 有什麼介紹？		bewater 會員 59.xxx.xxx.227	2015-11-09 00:57

音源最後先升，因好快又有新技術，若喜歡聽歌夠勁先SUB，後級唔推介購買，若要更好音質影音分家，AV料聽歌差啲

有機會可考慮Yamaha as2000 (2100冇咁抵用），2手$7～8000左右，好聲好力，尤其佢係true balance, 夾埋有balance output嘅CD, 再配合中性帶暖嘅接線，簡直可以聽3、5、7年唔洗換！

hi

i have a friend who was using atc 7 as we discuss this over and over again . the scm7 was not difficult to drive . u need a power amp for sure , but dont need a expensive one , i will recommend classe cav75 around 7-8k as as u can bi-amp the speaker as well .

and the most important part , the power amp will not perform well unless u have better preamp, if u like denon av amp , sell yours and buy a flagship denon avpa1hd second hand should be around 12k as i saw before.

this way can really make the differences within or around your budget .

#6 are right. You better change to Classe Audio pre/power as minimum start or just waste the ATC speakers.

UPDATE:

So ~1 week into having the speakers, I took one Ching's suggestion in bi-amping using the AVR, plus the speaker also opened up. The sound is definitely fuller. For movies, it's a bit lacking in power, but I will add a sub.

I am looking to a proper two channel amp -- either integrated or just power.

Is Yau Shing the best building to test out amps? Is there something on the HK Island side?

By the way, the official dealer of the SCM7 offers excellent service and seems honest, at least by audio salesman perspective.

I think I will get the sound I want, but I need to scale up slowly because otherwise Tiger at home will get angry for so many new pieces.

So just want to share my shopping process. Originally, I was looking for a floorstander because if you add the cost of the stand, it's about the same price and it takes about the same amount of estate. However, I was told that in my space of 18 ft long * 8.5 wide (~160) ft, 8.5 ft tall, a floorstander could be too boomy.

So I went for standmounts. So at first I was attracted to LS50 because so many awards and there are second hands available for a newbie like me. But somehow I think it's a bit thin. Then I also tested the R300 -- I like how "thick" it sounded but it seems that the sound isn't refined enough. I also was shown the Monitor Audio Bronx 2 and others...somehow I came across the review of ATC11 and I decided to try it.

The ATC 11 is amazing. It's a bit over budget but I was willing to push, but wife ended up saying that it's too big for the living room to her taste. The ATC7 sounded good enough too, and better IMHO than LS50 and R300. So I settled on that.

I already know that ATC7 is hard to drive, but some say that ATC7v3 is already easier to drive. So I think I bought it as a challenge as I think I am in this for the long run.

萬5蚊內又耍推到scm7,推薦moon 250i,新款叫neo 250i,高電流零負回輸50W,中性帶少厚暖,同級計非常夠力,好適合對付D入門 ATC或Dyn喇叭。

SCM7靈敏度得84db, 機每邊200火唔嫌多,

除非係幾十呎斗室....;

另外個結節點係 SCM7永遠潛唔到SCM11 咁低,

氹掂Tiger....

ATC喇叭係大磁鐵足料，大聲無咁易失真，但低頻下潛不是ATC強項，就算高級貴價型號都是。
SCM7 低頻在-6dB時得60Hz，在今天低音製造技術，真是弱了些。

就算是SCM11，低頻量只會明顯多過7仔，Frequency Response (-6dB): 56Hz-22kHz都係得咁多多，這系列連頻響+/-dB都唔夠膽標明。
