A happy A&H user here.Bought an A&H Zed 18 for Church use 2 years ago, use it every Sunday at least since then. Sound quality is much better than the old Yamaha mixer. The seller said that there is less cross talk among channels. In addition, A&H is recommended by a teacher in an Sound Controller Introductory course.

Due to a recent visit to a friend of mine who is using a STUDER Console Mixer purely as a source selector. This action gives me inspiration as my preamp has only one input usable. I would also like to use the mixer to do some mixing in the future.

I wonder if there are any mixer users in this forum and not too many to be precise. It happens that I have both the Mackie and Allen & Heath at the moment so I would like to share.

So far I have been impressed by using the Mackie 1402-VLZ PRO which gives great sound. The only problem is that it only has 6 XLR Inputs as I would like more.

When the Allen & Heath GL2200-32 came up with the irresistible price I jumped upon the opportunity. To be honest with you I think it's a bit overkilled with 32 Channels but you never know!!

I haven't used the A&H for long but initial result is favourable.

I must say most have gone digital or analogue with digital connection. Playing with an analogue mixer is presumed outdated. Having said there are many advantages in employing analogue mixers and cost is one of them.
