| [#51] Audiogenic 新版前級+新的monoblocks-同好會 All Audiogenic Fans and Users, I upgraded my first version of the Audiogenic pre amplifier to the latest dual mono version of the same looking pre amplifier which outperforms lots of other more expensive pre amplifiers! Please don't overlook its tiny size as it has lots of sonic potential to be explored by real music lovers who don't care so much about brands. The sonic performance of this pre amplifier is unbelievably extraordinary in terms of accuracy and clarity with a good separation of musical instruments being reproduced from the sound source. It can feed my Audiogenic dual mono power amplifier very well with lots of details retrieved from the CD source. Of course, my locally made DAC also plays a vital part in this contribution. Anyway all Audiogenic audio products are great sounding with a great value for money. I fully support the locally made audio products like the ones by Audiogenic. | [#52] Audiogenic 新版前級+新的monoblocks-同好會 Hi C Hing After a few days of run-in, I have another observation about the comparison between my ML 20.5 monoblocks and AG dual mono power amplifier. The ML 20.5 monoblocks sound more laid back while the AG power amplifier sounds more subtle and clear in the basic 3 frequencies. The separation among the musical instruments and the vocals was more obvious and more details from the sound source were accurately retrieved with the AG power amplifier. | [#59] Audiogenic 新版前級+新的monoblocks-同好會 Two C Hings came to my audio room last Friday. They had an audition of my audio setups of AG pre amplifier (the lastest version) with ML20.5 monoblocks and AG dual mono power amplifier. They came to a conclusion that I needed some slight adjustments to maximise the real potential of the audio setups. I took their advice and toed in my Duntech Princess speakers a bit further away from the side walls. Then the bass responses from the playback will become less messy and muddled. The ML 37 CD transport was placed on better anti-vibration feet. The sound quality has improved a lot. Many thanks for their feedback and my endless trials! The only aim is to make the sound quality perfect. |

I have the ML 20.5 monoblocks for reference and comparison. My AG dual mono power amplifier won in the fierce battle once again. You may ask me why I am still keeping my ML 20.5 monoblocks because they are classic vintage ML audio products for battling with my AG power amplifier. Believe it or not! It is the iron truth that AG audio products always win other branded products. I was a witness who was defifintely on the spot of hearing the sonic performances of various branded pre and power amplifiers in comparison with AG audio products.
