| [#18] 純銀信號線 "I think you can't save much with a group purchase as one strand of 100m ＞ HK$10k." I don't mean that seller will give a discount for a total order of say 20 or 30 meters. If one order for a few meters incurs courier fee from UK say example $200, then a second or third order [should be even more] can be sent in same package to one address without exceeding the minimum weight charge. There is always a minimum charge by courier for the first half kilo or other unit. But group-purchase will require some co-ordination work in payment arrangement/goods collection, etc. Maybe some people prefer just to order on his own to save the trouble. | [#19] 純銀信號線 One very experienced audiophile DIYer friend of mine made Mundorf Supreme IC cables with Switchcraft RCA plugs [HK$40/piece]. He finds very good sound already. But later, another friend bought the Mundorf 金銀頭 [made by WBT with silver/gold] from "hificollective" & asked him to make Mundorf Supreme IC cables. He found that the previous version can show only 50% of the wire's potential. The later version with Mundorf 金銀頭 sounds much better, but these plugs are extremely expensive as you can see the cost quoted by 嚦嚦二世in #17, about $3k for 2 pairs of plug to make one pr IC. Personal choice then. Just a reminder, the Mundorf Supreme cables produce very beautiful highs/mids but bass is lighter to some extent.
