I found even using amps of same brand, same vintage but of different power can produce a not so satisfactory result. Some people use mixed amps., and mixed cables to "校聲", the chance of success, in my opinion, is very unlikely. |

| [#8] 點解用bi-amp D聲仲差個Single Amp? Wrong setting! Your mono block has no gain control I assume so the bass and treble are not correctly proportioned. Try this: CDP---＞ Tube Pre using a 1 to 2 RAC plug (in SSP about $20 each)---＞ Output 1: Integrated Amp ----＞ Speaker Treble. Output 2" Mono Block ---＞ Speaker Bass. Then use the Int. Amp volume to adjust the treble proportion by playing different music. Mark the position and turn to that position each time you need to power on/off the system. I use similar setup and it works perfectly. Just that my pre-amp is a digital one. |
