| [#45] 大概一萬蚊o既坐地喇叭選擇 hello hiend c-hing, i have just auditioned the SF toy and toy tower in SF hk office. they used audio research VSi60 int amp (6550 tube) to drive them. but i couldn't hear the dull mid-range (or vocal voice) like you have mentioned. instead the mid-range is far more better than the chario cygnus that i have listened to in DCH showroom which is driven by accuphase. After all this, again, comparing an apple to apple, i have just ordered the SF toy tower!!! thanks again all c-hing for your thoughts. |

| [#44] 大概一萬蚊o既坐地喇叭選擇 thanks for suggestion ckco c-hing, at the moment i have targeted sonus faber and hopefully in sonus faber showroom they have the display i can try. i have auditioned polkaudio LSi 15 in DCH yday, the overall performance is good at it price range. |

| [#42] 大概一萬蚊o既坐地喇叭選擇 I have a suggestion. If you like bass sound, you can try Polk Audio Rti7 or Rti9. It can produce easy and low bass. It match solid state amp and not sure for tube amp. 華仁會 has this speaker. Try a audition and see how you like it. |

I used ProAc and Monitor Audio floor standing speakers before, and they match with tube amps well for jazz and vocals. If you consider 2nd hand, higher models may be bought with you $10K budget.
